Maple Grove folks love to have fun!
Here at Maple Grove Marina we like to have fun! We start early in May and have fun clear through October. During the winter months we even plan a few get-togethers to see how everyone is doing...and talk about how much we miss our boats, campers & friends.

In May, Kick Off the season with a treat on us! Maple Grove sponsors a cookout for our summer residents. It's a great time to renew our old friendships and to make new friends too! Once those  tummies are full we'll work you out with some dancing to the music of a DJ.

Early in June we have our annual Walleye Tournament with lots of boats loaded with fishermen (and fisherwomen) who spend the day trying to catch that grand-daddy walleye on beautiful Lake Erie. Upon returning to the marina, the fish are weighed in and the scores tallied. Later in the evening, it's on to the Maple Grove pavilion for a party with awards and dancing!

Late in June we embark on the first of two annual Island Runs for the year. We start out at Kelley's Island for a day, then head to Put-in-Bay for the 2nd day. It's then either back to Maple Grove Marina or off for one more day and some rest & recuperation at Kelley's island.

In August, we have the Annual Pig Roast and in 2006 we've added a Steak Fry! Whether you and your family and friends spent the day fishing, swimming or just playing hard...there's nothing better than a nice, open flame cooked meal! Gather 'round now, ya'll hear!

September brings about our annual wrap up the Summer events...the Halloween Party... a chance for adults to become kids again in costume. And the kids get to have a good time too! September is also the Greektown Bus Trip and new in 2006, a Perch Tournament! What a great way to wind down a perfect season!
